Welcome!  I'm here to tell you why you should choose us as your next breeder.  First, I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University.  My professional career has been Pharma Sales for Large Animal Health companies.  What does that mean, well it means I've called on & educated vets, vet staff, nutritionist & livestock producers on the value, correct usage & dosing and new products on the market in the animal health space.  Such as vaccines, flea/tick, antibiotics, deworming, anti-inflammatories to name a few.  My professional knowledge of animal related pharmaceuticals is extensive and has been extra helpful with my dog breeding career. 

In addition, I've raised and bred over 15 AKC champion dogs and have been a breeder for almost two decades.  I have raised toy sized dogs up to the largest dogs.  Having grown up on a dairy farm (and Christmas tree farm) I've been around animals my entire life.  I understand animal husbandry and strive for the best.

We also utilize Puppy Culture to temperament test all our puppies and they are raised according to the Badass Breeder curriculum.

Health Testing

Values that we strive for at OTG Canines is providing healthy dogs as pet, performance, or show prospects. Hip, Elbow, Cardiac, Eyes are either done through OFA (Orthopedic Foundation Association) or through PennHip.  DNA testing is completed by Paw Print Genetics, Embark or cleared by parentage with specific lines. 

Import Bloodlines & Temperament

We have imported the majority of our dogs for very specific reasons.  First, import bloodlines tend to have better longevity, are healthier dogs and more to the standard we like.  Bernese Mountain dogs are big, thick & drafty style.  Golden Retrievers with stunning blocky heads, luscious coats and great temperaments.
